St. Francis Pension Plan

On October 30 and November 9, 2024, the St. Francis Healthcare System of Hawaiʻi Board of Directors passed a resolution to terminate the St. Francis Pension Plan, liquidate its assets, and equitably distribute these assets to pension participants.

Informational Sessions

We will be hosting a series of information sessions to address questions from our pension plan participants. We invite you to join us for the session from the list below that’s most appropriate to your employee group.

Timeline for Lump Sum Distribution

All plan participants who have returned their packets by March 15 will receive their lump sum payments.

Mid-December

Eligible pension participants will receive a kit in the mail indicating the amount of their lump sum payment and options for how to receive it.

December-March 2025

Once pension participants decide how they want to receive their funds, they will return their completed packet via mail. Please note that returning a kit after March 15, 2025, will delay lump sum disbursement.
