About Us
Founded in 1927 by the Sisters of St. Francis, St. Francis Healthcare System of Hawaiʻi has been a cornerstone of compassionate, quality healthcare in the islands. Rooted in a mission to provide holistic care guided by the values of charity, peacemaking, joy, and simplicity, our system has grown from a single hospital into a comprehensive network of services, including post-acute care, hospice care, and home health services. Over the decades, St. Francis has expanded its reach and impact through innovative programs, all while staying true to its founding principles. Today, we continue to serve our community with dedication and a commitment to enhancing the well-being of every person we encounter.
