St. Francis Healthcare System invites you to be a part of the 4th Annual Saint Marianne Cope Walk on Saturday, January 28, 2017. Onsite registration will begin at 7 am and the fun begins at 7:30 am sharp. It will be leisurely three-mile walk from Magic Island to Kewalo Basin Park and back, an event for the entire family, keiki to kūpuna.
Along the way, we’ll honor Saint Marianne at her statue at Kewalo Basin Park. All of the proceeds from the walk will support the new St. Francis Kūpuna Village, a one-stop health and wellness center for seniors, caregivers and other family members, located in the heart of Liliha.
Building for Today and the Future
We’re walking to continue building the St. Francis Kūpuna Village, to help make the renderings you see in this newsletter become a reality to serve Hawaii’s families.
The St. Francis Kūpuna Village already features a skilled nursing facility at Liliha. Next on the drawing board is a senior community center, where seniors can enjoy educational, social and recreational activities together. Future plans include adult day care and adult day health programs, an assisted living facility with a wing dedicated to serving the Sisters of St. Francis, and an independent living community.
Early Bird Rate Deadline: January 16, 2017
The walk registration fee is $40, but if you register before January 16, 2017, it’s just $30. So be sure to register today take advantage of the early bird rate. The first 500 registrants will receive a free T-shirt!
