Presenter: Kristin Lambert-Bryant is a Honolulu attorney who specializes in estate planning and serves clients statewide. Kristin also serves an assistant professor at the University of Hawaii William S. Richardson School of Law for the Elder Law Clinic.
She is also a volunteer attorney for the University of Hawaii Elder Law Program and a senior
mediator at the Mediation Center of the Pacific. She was born and raised in Honolulu and is a
graduate of the University of Hawaii William S. Richardson School of Law. Kristin is a member of the Hawaii State Bar Association, and belongs to the probate elder law, and tax sections.
Hands-on Bathing Training
Helping an aging family member with personal hygiene is one of the most challenging aspects of caregiving. You’ll receive training on hands-on techniques to give your loved one a bath safely and easily. You’ll also learn how to change the bed linens of someone who is bed bound. Limited to 10 participants.

Our taste buds, appetites and ability to chew may change as we age, but our need for proper
nutrition and hydration do not change. Learn about nutrition for seniors and the role of liquid nutritional supplements and the differences in food consistencies to maintain our overall health. Limited to 20 participants.

Presenter: Mary Arakaki, RD, is a registered dietitian with extensive experience in nutrition for the elderly and adult weight management. She previously worked at as a nutrition consultant for a continuous care retirement community, provided diabetes education for an acute hospital’s wellness center, and served as a bariatric dietitian. She is passionate about healthy cooking and serves as a St. Francis Hospice volunteer.
