• 9 X 13 Pan
• 6 – 3 oz boxes of Jello (3 each of same flavor)
• 1 box Knox (4 packs in a box)
• 1/2 cup white sugar
• 2 – 8 oz whipping cream
• 8 cups water
Instructions:
1st layer:
In a large bowl, add 3 boxes of Jello (same flavor) with 1/4 cup sugar and 3 cups boiling water, stir & dissolve. In a separate bowl, mix 2 packs Knox with 1 cup tap water, stir and dissolve. Add the above together and mix. Cool mix for 10 minutes, then add 8 oz whipping cream to Jello, mix and pour in 9 x 13 pan. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
2nd layer:
Repeat instructions above with a different flavor Jello & refrigerate overnight. Note: Before repeating 2nd layer, test Jello by gently tapping the 1st layer of jello with your finger. If firm, pour 2nd flavor Jello & refrigerate overnight.
Tip:
When pouring the 2nd flavor, don’t pour in the same spot, move it around when pouring. If 1st layer is still soft after an hour, refrigerate a bit longer until Jello has firmed. If 1st layer is too soft and you pour the 2nd layer, it’ll blend in with the 1st layer. If 1st layer is too firm, layer may separate when eating.
Cut into desired size and serve showing both flavors. Enjoy!
