If you’re a caregiver experiencing grief because you have lost a loved one or are thinking about what your life will be like when that person is no longer here, join a special support group of St. Francis Hospice Bereavement Services.
“We offer support, hope and encouragement,” said Wesley Taira, LCSW, Bereavement Social Worker with St. Francis Hospice, who spearheads the group. You’ll learn self-care skills, receive helpful information from valuable resources, and form new partnerships with other caregivers.”
The group now meets the first Thursday of every month at St. Francis Hospice, 2251 Mahalo Street, in Liliha, from 10 am to noon. Meetings from the rest of the year will be held on July 7, Aug. 4, Sept. 1, Oct. 6, Nov. 10 (second Thursday), and Dec. 1, 2016.
