Making every moment count
Nationally accredited by The Joint Commission, St. Francis Hospice, the state’s first and largest hospice program, provides compassionate care and comfort for terminally ill patients in their homes, in nursing homes, or at our inpatient facilities in Nuuanu and Ewa. We make each moment count, enhancing the quality of life for patients and their family and friends. St. Francis Hospice also has one of the most advanced bereavement services programs, offering support groups, walks in shopping malls, and other activities for families who have lost a loved one.
Bringing quality care right to your home
When it’s time to be discharged from the hospital, St. Francis Home Care Services is right there to help you recover quickly, get back on your feet and avoid emergency room visits and readmissions to the hospital. St. Francis Home Care Services is accredited by The Joint Commission, and our team of nurses, therapists, home health aides, and other specialists on Oahu and Kauai are ready to provide specialized medical care to help you recover faster in the comfort of your own home.
Refreshing frail elders at home
St. Francis Health Services for Senior Citizens, in partnership with the City and County of Honolulu’s Elderly Affairs Division, provides bathing and personal grooming services for Oahu’s frail elders. We come to your home to provide baths or personal care services, with priority given to those with low incomes living in rural areas.

For caregivers who work during the day and are not able to be at home, the Franciscan Adult Day Center in Manoa or St. Francis Adult Day Center in Ewa Villages offers the perfect solution for their loved ones. We offer assistance with activities of daily living and personal care for older adults and disabled individuals who need special attention in a safe environment. At our adult day centers, participants make new friends and enjoy arts and crafts, exercise, games, and more.
Luxurious living at affordable prices
Franciscan Vistas Ewa is a vibrant senior independent living community in historic Ewa Villages with beautiful amenities that rival luxury retirement communities. It combines affordable housing and wellness all in one place. Affordable housing is a natural extension of St. Francis Healthcare System, as health is often compromised among Hawaii’s older adults because often they must choose between buying the medications recommended by their doctor or paying their rent. It’s the life many Hawaii seniors have dreamed about all their lives!
St. Francis Palliative Care
Giving comfort for body, mind and spirit
St. Francis Palliative Care works with your doctor to provide an extra layer of care if you have a serious illness. We provide physical comfort and emotional and spiritual support to alleviate the side effects associated with curative treatments such as chemotherapy for cancer. Our palliative care services are available in hospitals, nursing homes, specialist’s offices, and in our outpatient clinic.
Committed to Children
Every child deserves a great start. Put your child on the path for success with St. Francis Preschool. We provide a nurturing environment for your child to learn and grow socially, morally, spiritually, intellectually, and physically, surrounded by positive Catholic values.
Our curriculum combines various Montessori teaching principles and materials with “traditional” preschool methods that include teacher-directed, theme-based lessons and creative play.
Bringing serenity to our busy lives
As a ministry of St. Francis Healthcare System, Our Lady of Kea`au located on 58 acres on the Waianae Coast, offers nonprofit organizations a special retreat center for community and business meetings, conferences, and celebrations. The peace and serenity make it an ideal location for contemplation, rejuvenation, wellness, and spiritual renewal. Guests have access to furnished cabins, an outdoor kitchen and dining facilities, tennis courts, swimming pools, and open fields. As an extension of service to the community, Our Lady of Kea`au also prepares and serves meals for the homeless in the Waianae area. It also maintains a Christian homeless tent community on the premises.
Teaching healthy habits from an early age
St. Francis Healthy Lifestyles Program (HeLP) is designed to help individuals throughout the community live longer, healthier lives. The program focuses on preventive care and health education for young children to promote wellness and healthy lifestyles for the whole person—body, mind and spirit. The St. Francis Healthy Lifestyles Program team, led by registered nurses, collaborates with other community agencies to provide education to schools and the general public.
