Seniors who have suffered a stroke or have dementia may have a difficult time speaking or communicating their thoughts and desires. Learn what you can do to preserve their dignity and sense of independence. Limited to 10 participants. Presented by Eve Koenig and Terri Ching, Speech Pathologists, volunteer board members of the Hawaii Speech and Hearing Association.

Every year, thousands of Hawaii seniors are rushed to the emergency room because of falls and many are hospitalized. Learn how to prevent falls and enjoy exercises to maintain your mobility. Limited to 10 participants. Led by Julie Okamura, MSPT, of Hoku Physical Therapy, located in the St. Francis Kūpuna Village.
