November 4 - A Rose for Remembrance Interdenominational Memorial Service
In observance of National Hospice and Palliative Care Month, St. Francis Hospice presents its annual interdenominational memorial service honoring patients who have died on the hospice program. Family and friends are invited to dedicate a rose in honor of their loved ones. 7 p.m., Newman Center. For more information, call 808-547-8129.
December 2 - Light Up a Memory
St. Francis Hospice kicks off the holiday season with its annual treelighting ceremony. Family and friends are invited to honor a loved one's memory with a laminated star that will be placed on one of the Christmas trees at The Sister Maureen Keleher Center. Featuring refreshments and entertainment. 6 p.m., 24 Puiwa Road in Nuuanu.
December 9 - Light Up a Memory
The treelighting festivities also take place at The Maurice J. Sullivan Family Hospice Center with refreshments and entertainment, 6 p.m., 91-2127 Fort Weaver Road in Ewa Beach.
February 24, 2012 - Grief, Hope, Joy... & Beyond
Join us for the second Grief Conference in Hawaii and discover ways to transform grief and embrace life after loss. Featuring national speakers SARK, best-selling author and artist; Allen Klein, therapeutic humor expert; and Michael Wall, educator and author.
